When should I start taking my birth control?!
Question: When should I start taking my birth control!?
I recently decided to go back on the pill after coming off of it about four months ago (i was really bad at taking it, and figured it wasn't effective so why bother!? i used other methods of birth control, instead) I still have the prescription, and picked up a new pack yesterday, My period started on Friday, and ended today (Tuesday)!. Should I start taking it today!? and When will it be effective!? I will call my doctor tomorrow, but I figured I'd ask here first!. The pharmacist was clueless, haha!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should have started it on either Friday or Sunday!. You can technically still take it today/tonight (Tuesday/night) but it will just dictate on when you will get your "period"!.
ETA: the reason why they suggest Sunday start is because it lines up nicely with the rows of pills!. The first pill in the row = first day of the week!. The stickers are for you to "re-label" your pack so you remember which day is which if you choose not to do the 'sunday start'!. The sunday start also was meant so that we would end up getting out periods throughout the week and then be "in the clear" for weekends :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
