Problems with tampons?!

Question: Problems with tampons!?
Now i hope women answer here, because i'm not looking for a males opinion!.
And your male comments will be disregarded!.
But i'm having problems with tampons!.
I'm fifteen years old, mentrated for 3 years, and recently feel the need to wear tampons!.
I try to use the plastic kind, just because i don't usually have a heavy flow, and plastic makes it easier!.
But i also have a VERY long body, and whenever i try to insert a tampax pearl tampon, i feel as though i can still feel the tampon!.
It's not that i'm not trying, but my mom says i might not be putting it far enough inside me!.
Is there any advice you can give, because i've tried alot of things!.
Does anyone think im using the wrong brand!? because me and my mom think the applicateor part is too short, but my body length!.
We have no idea
so if you could please help me that would be great!.
Next stop, is seeing the doctor!.
Please, 10 points!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've been wearing tampons for 23+ years, and sometimes I still feel the tampon!. I put them in correctly and I occasionally feel them, so its really no big deal if you feel them or not, as long as they are not leaking you are good to go!.

No need to see a doctor for this!.

You could always try a different brand and see if you feel a difference!. Some prefer Playtex Sport tampons, some prefer OB, etc!. Try a few different brands and see if you find one that you like!. I've used tampax pearl lites and have had no issue with them (except the occasional I can feel it)Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you can feel the tampon in your body, you're not putting the tampon all the way in to the level in your body where it should be!.

Since this is your first time, use the slim fit (or teen fit) and plastic applicator types of tamons until you become more used to them!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to have issues with tampons being comfortable too!. I tried several different types but none were comfortable!. I finally found Platex Beyond!. They are much more comfortable!. Just make sure your tampons are in far enough and especially relax when you put them in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Disregard this if you like (I'm a man)!.!.!. but it's the truth!. Your body size has nothing to do with it!.

The ones with plastic applicators *definitely* make things easier for girls who've never used tampons before!.!.!. but once you know how, anything that's comfortable to wear will be easy to insert!.

Helpful advice (beyond the semi-useless package directions)!? Yeah!.!.!. just three things:

1) Aim the tampon more towards your back than upwards!.!.!. your vagina actually goes *back* for more than half of its length, not just up!.!.!. and push it in gently (twisting it back and forth a bit might help it slide more easily) as far as the applicator will go while you're still holding the end of it!. THEN push the plunger end of it in while holding the whole outside part where it is!.

2) It'll be easier to do the first time if things are slippery "down there", so don't wipe away any blood and stuff until you've got the tampon in place!. If there's very little blood there, just smear a couple of drops of saliva on the tip of the tampon (or its applicator if it has one) and it'll make things a lot more comfortable!.

3) Relaxation is **important**!. If relaxing isn't easy for you, try pushing just a little bit as if you're trying to poop or pee!.!.!. your pelvic muscles will relax a bit and that will help a *lot*!.
