Is this an STD? PLEASE HELP!! ?!

Question: Is this an STD!? PLEASE HELP!! !?
went to the doctor this morning to get a pap smear, I informed my doctor about my symptoms that I have noticed since my Hubby and I have tried to conceive!. I sometimes have cervical pain during intercourse (doggy style or if it hits it too hard)!. And also I have been having brown discharge a couple days after my period has ended!. The doctor I go to are students and i saw a first year resident this morning (never saw her before)!. She stated this could be chlamydia!.!.!.I freaked out and started crying!. I have been with my husband for 10 years (high school sweethearts), prior to him I was with one other person (one time)!. I have had no previous STD's!. I know (or assume) that my husband is faithful and I am as well!. After the exam the doctor stated my cervix looked normal, it was a little red!. There was no abnormal discharge to show signs of an infection!.!.!.and also when she pushed and moved my cervix there was no pain!. She stated that if it was chlamydia when she moved my cervix there should have been a tremendous amount of pain!. She said that by just looking and feeling my cervix she didn't think it was Chlamydia (about a 95% chance it wasn't), but she would have to wait for the test results are back to rull it out entirely!.

Has anyone had these types of symptoms!? What was your outcome!? I am sorry but I am just very worried even though I honestly don't think it is an STD!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I sincerely doubt that your problem is an STD (and that "student" should be getting reprimanded for even offering such a callous observation without first examining you and taking the tests!!)!. Your "doctor" is a complete IDIOT!.

If anything, it might be a bit of a low-grade, asymptomatic yeast infection, or it could be cervicitis (a catch-all term for irritation or infection of the cervical face)!. Neither is sexually transmitted and both are easily treated!.

Furthermore, if you're having sex in positions that allow hard thumping of the cervix, that CAN be painful for many women, so I would dismiss that as a problem, unless there was a copious amount of blood post-coitus!.
Also, the post-period spotting could just be your body's response the ramping up of hormones in anticipation of ovulation!. Mid-cycle spotting is not all that uncommon!.

All in all, I wouldn't worry at all!.!.!.about the test results OR your husband's fidelity!. Having had Chlamydia before (thanks to my lousy cheating ex-husband!), I can tell you first hand the VAST majority of women have NO symptoms at all, with the most common being discharge and foul odor!. If you have neither of those, I'd vote for it just being common irritation (cervicitis)!.

Relax!. Take a deep breath, and good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think it is chlamydia!. I get that feeling when I am in the doggy style position also!. The brown blood is old blood which I also get a few days after!. I don't think there is nothing to be worried about!. It should be okay!. Good luck! Have a great afternoon! I hope I helped :DWww@Answer-Health@Com

It doesnt sound like an std to me!. If your husband is penetrating to far or hard it could hit your cervix which would cause pain!.!.!. thats nothing to worry about!.!.!. just take it easy lol!. And brown discharge could just be the "old" blood coming out that didnt while you were on your period!.!.!. I'm not a doctor by any means but i hope that maybe this helped! good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

chronic cervicitis or maybe something else!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Slow down!.

Sometimes certain sexual positions can cause discomfort for some women more than others!. Rear entry can be painful for some, depending what angle you are at!. It is for me, so we rarely do it that way because I can't get comfortable!.
If your hubby is going too far and hits the cervix, yup that can hurt sometimes, no std's have to be present for that to happen!.

And I thought the discharge for chlamydia is more white and thicker!.

The brown discharge is just the trail end of your period, I get it at the beginning and the end of my period!. I think that is normal!.

I personally think you are fine!. I suggest for you to find more comfortable sexual positions, sometimes just a slight adjustment to the position can make all the difference!. Just communicate with hubby!. There is no need for you to suffer hun!.

Enjoy your husband and marriage, no more suspicians and enjoy making a baby for you guys!.
Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

if your husband has been faithful, there is no chance of it being chlamydia!.i am not questioning that!. but you don't get it from toilet seats movie seats etc!. some times your uterus can be tipped forward or back which can make a difference in some sexual positions!. a brown discharge, as long as it is not mucosy, is just some old menses blood that is slow to pass for a better term!. so don't panic!. wait for the results and best wishes to you on getting pregnant!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
