Painful urination, inflammation, bleeding after sex?!

Question: Painful urination, inflammation, bleeding after sex!?
About 20 hrs ago I had sex for the first time in 7 months!. We used a condom and we didnt do anything out of the ordinary, but when I just urinated, it was extremely painful and i was bleeding!. Then i noticed that at the opening (only the actual hole) of my vagina is swollen and inflamed when I looked in a mirror and it was abnormally red!. Im really freaking out right now, and have read everything online about infections but i just dont know what it could be considering i just had sex not even 24 hrs ago!. i have no history of STDs but i have had an inflamed cervix before and have experienced bleeding after sex, but this is so inflammed, its got me scared!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
it is normal to bleed after sex especially since you haven't had it for 7 months!.!.!. and as for being inflamed, it could be from the condom!. maybe you are allergic to the latex or other material its made from!. sometimes after sex, i feel raw in my vagina and its inflamed!. you could be ovulating and not know it or you could already have an infection and not have known about it before having sex and now you are just really irritated down there!. i wouldn't worry too much right now but if it doesn't clear up by monday, you should call your doctor!. hope this helps!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The chances of it being an STD are very slim if this is your first sexual encounter in seven months!. If some type of infection had managed make its way through the condom, you certainly wouldn't have any symptoms in less than 24 hours!. It sounds more like you irritated some very sensitive tissues, and depending on how badly irritated, this could cause some minor bleeding!.!.!.!.more like spotting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like a urinary track infection and if there is blood in it I'd go see my doctor immediately!. You should have gone to the bathroom right after sex!.!.!.!.next time!.!.!.!.
For now I'd say drink lots of water to push bacteria out and take an aspirin or tylenol for pain!. I'd still go see your doctor as soon as you can!. I'm no doctor and I can't see what the problem is!. He will give you the right answers and the right meds!.!.!.
I feel for you!.!.!.!.UTI really sucks!.!.!.!.
Good luck!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like a lack of lubrication, and this is a skin abrasion, in a most awkward spot!. Your entire uterus or womb may also be tilted, previously!. I really think so!.

See a doctor, then gynecologist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is a condition called atrophic vaginitus, which usually affects women who have a decrease in estrogen levels due to menopause or following giving birth!. However women who smoke, who are not sexually active or haven't given birth are also more likely to suffer from it!.

The symptoms include burning, itching, pressure or discharge!. Intercourse is painful and may be followed by light bleeding!. Urinary tract symptoms can also occur including frequency and painful urination!.

It would take a doctor to diagnose you, and requires an examination, so I can't tell you that is definitely what you have!. But it's one possibility, and I mention it to ease your mind a bit!. I can tell by the wording of your question how stressed you are, and just want to assure you that this could well be something simple and not something dire as you may be imagining!.

If it is this condition, the treatment for it is aimed at reducing the discomfort of dryness during everyday activities and restoring lubrication during intercourse!.

So do please pay a visit to your doctor for a proper examination to find out what is causing your condition!. And I hope you will be feeling much better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
