Question: Am I too old!? I want a doll!?
I am 15!. When I was younger, all I ever wanted was one of those American Girl dolls!. When I was about 11 (when all the girls wanted their periods=) my mom promised me that the day I started my period, I could get the doll!. Well, I started puberty late, and I just started my first period last month!. Its been on my mind since I started my period!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Im sure my mom forgot, but something inside my heart still wants that doll!. Should I ask my mom for the doll!? Or am I too old now!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are certainly NOT too old to want a doll!. I remember playing with my barbies when I was 15 (of course, I didn't publicize it to everyone, but they were some of my fondest memories)!. Tell you mom that you've always had your heart set on your very own American Girl doll!. If she comments that you are "too old" (which I would hope that she doesn't say), tell her that you've always really wanted one and remind her of her promise to you when you were about 11 years old!. You can also tell her that it will be a keepsake that you can give to your own daughter one day!. Sometimes you can even find brand new American Girl dolls on Ebay for a lesser price!. Hey, I'm 37 years old, and I am still enamoured by those old fashioned doll-houses!. I swear that I'm going to have one in my bedroom one day, and my hubby will just have to like it! LOL!. if you still want one, well your mom promised so remind her!. i wanted a train set, same deal (i am female) but i didn't want one by then!. however, i wasn't allowed teddy bears as a child - they were for boys, so i was told!. when my son was a teenager he began to buy me bears, i have quite a collection now!. the moral is - you are never too old for something you really want!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well, you can never be too old to want something!. I myself am 14, turning 15!. I still play on some kiddie site called Neopets!? I've been playing it since I was 8!.
