Question: Pimple/Cyst on Labia Minora!!?
Over the past couple of days, there has been a pimple or a cyst forming at the base of my left labia minora!. It is extremely painful and I can't stand to sit! It also hurts when I urinate!. The thing is, I just started a new job and my health insurance doesn't kick in until Oct!. 1, so I'm thinking of lancing it myself!. Has anyone done this before!!? How should I do it!!? I'm thinking any pain from the lancing will be far better than the pain from the thing itself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't do anything drastic on your own!. You don't want to end up hurting yourself and having to go into the ER without insurance!. If it's a pimple, it should go away within a week or so!. Apply a warm washcloth to the area two times a day to help compress swelling!. Are you sure it's not an ingrown hair!? I've had a few which I thought were pimples and were pretty painful!. Apply a hot washcloth and try popping it, gross, but it works!. If it's still there by October, definitely go get it checked out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I would not do anything like lancing it unitl you go to the doc and make sure that is what it is!. Do you have a planned parenthood nearby!? They may be able to see you at a more affordable price than your regular doctor!. I have had something similar happen to me and it was just like a cyst, but I would go to the doc to make sure!.
