Cervical cerclage and orgasm?!

Question: Cervical cerclage and orgasm!?
I recently found out my cervix was thinning and my mid-wife suggested I have a cervical cerclage!. I had the procedure done with no problems and barely any bleeding!. One of the doctors who preformed the procedure told me the I could not work out, have intercourse and stay off my feet as much as I could!. I was wondering If I could still have an orgasm without intercourse!. If anyone has any professional answers I would appreciate it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I honestly don't know the *precise* answer to your question, but I can tell you this much with assurance:

Any activity that can stress healing tissue more than a tiny bit isn't a good idea!.!.!. and orgasm *can* put considerable muscular stress on your uterus - consequently on your cervix!.

There's almost no mucous or cartilaginous tissue anywhere in the human body that won't heal almost to its maximum within 6 weeks!.

If I were you, I'd take this same info to your doc and ask: when is it OK for me to have orgasms, and when is it OK for me to have intercourse!?

I do know this much: I'm a guy, and I had a vasectomy 21 years ago!.!.!. after which the surgeon told me flat out not to have intercourse *or* orgasms at all for 6 weeks!. To that point, I hadn't gone more than 3 consecutive *days* without orgasm for nearly 14 years!.

The surgery and recovery worked out just fine, and I *hope* that's because I did like the doctor said!. Otherwise, I'll have to kill him!. :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Can't have intercourse - like only for a couple of weeks right!? Not like never again!? Www@Answer-Health@Com
