PCOS at 20?! Please help!?!

Question: PCOS at 20!?! Please help!!?
Hi,
I'm not entirely sure about this, but I am paranoid that I might have PCOS!. I am overweight, but I dont just carry it in my stomach!. I have it in very typically woman areas as well, arms, thighs, sides, etc!. I do tend to get a few hairs on my upper lip and chin, but nothing really bad!. I know that being overweight can cause you to stop getting periods, but I know woman heavier than me that get them!. I have always been overweight, but my periods have been averagely regular!. I am not really really obese, I can still fit into Juniors clothes at a size XL!. I wear a size 15 jeans!. The problem is, my period has stopped being regular since last Christmas!. I've had it a few times since then!. Once I think i had it because I took the morning after pill!. I'm guessing the high dosage of hormones caused this!. So my question is, do you think I have PCOS, and will going on the pill get me regular again!? Please help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
try taking the pill - i think it will help regulate ur period

taking the morning after pill may have sent ur body into shock and therefore, ur period is not regular anymore

obesity definitely isn't the cause of ur problem

wait for another month, if ur period still doesn't come even after taking the pill, then i recommend i see ir family doctor

It doesn't sound like PCOS, but you should see a doctor ASAP!. At 20, your period should be regular!.

You also need to take a pregnancy test ASAP!. It is possible to get pregnant even when you take the morning after pill and the #1 cause of missed or skipped periods is pregnancy!.

Taking the morning after pill should not mess up anyone's hormones enough to lead to several skipped periods!.

Your lack of periods could be a lot of things PCOS (there is no age limit), pregnancy, overweight, thyroid problems, ovarian cysts, stress, etc!. See a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
