Does a breast lift/implant affect your ability to breast feed?!

Question: Does a breast lift/implant affect your ability to breast feed!?
I was thinking about getting a breast lift and possible small implant in the near future, but if it will affect my ablility to breast feed in the future then I would not go through with it!. I'm almost 20 and I have lost so much weight that my boobs are very very saggy!. I want to look and feel as young as I really am and I feel that this will give me that extra bit of happiness that I am looking for!. I only want to get the small implant if my breasts are going to end up being smaller than a large C cup after the lift!. I have D's right now and I'm sick of not being able to find bathing suit tops that won't fit and shirts that are way too tight up top!. So, my question is, does getting a breast lift and/or breast implant affect your ability to breast feed!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
mostly, yes!.
if its important to you that you still be able to breast feed, stress that to the doc before you get anything done!.
but for the most part, there are no guarantees that you'll be able to breast feed, especially with the lift!.
really, the only way to do a lift properly if for the doc to make an incision all the way around the areola, most of the time, resulting in damage of the milk ducts in the area!.
It all depends on how damaged they are!. Most of the time, there are still several ducts that will produce milk afterward, but often not enough to breast feed!.

I believe that it's possible that it will affect your ability to breast feed, but not 100% either way!. I only know someone who had a breast reduction, and that's what they told her: 'There's a chance that you may not be able to breast feed'!.
Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Lifts and implants should not affect the ability to breastfeed if they are done correctly and the nipple and milk glands are not interfered with!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
