Questions about lubricant?!

Question: Questions about lubricant!?
This is embarrassing enough to ask, so only serious answers please!.

What's the best lubricant to buy to pair with a condom, so it doesn't wear at the condom, but it also lubricates properly!? Any info/advice helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
There's no "best"!.!.!. each has its advantages and drawbacks!.!.!. but here's stuff to think about!.

Water-based lubes (K-Y, Astroglide and the like) are condom-safe, and they mostly contain glycerin and some sort of emollient!. While very slippery at first and not bad to taste (the glycerine makes them quite sweet), they tend to dry and absorb fairly quickly, and they get sort of sticky!.

Silicone-based lubes (like Wet Platinum) are also condom-safe, silky smooth, last for *hours* and wash off in a jiffy with soap and water, but they don't taste nice, and they'll dissolve the surfaces of silicone-surfaced toys and make them sticky!.

There's really nothing else available that's properly condom-safe!. Oils of almost any kind will weaken (and can even dissolve) a condom!.!.!. most lotions aren't very sanitary and have scents that may not be good for your vulva and vagina!.!.!. and other things really don't belong "in there"!.

It's silly to put more than a tiny drop of it *in* the condom, because it can make the condom slip off , and as you note - it doesn't help the woman at all, and it's the condom's friction with *her* body that should be avoided!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've heard really good things about Astroglide!. The best place to put it is on the outside of the condom!. They suggest putting it inside the condom because it decreases some of the friction for the man too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
