IUD? Lots of questions in one ...?!
Question: IUD!? Lots of questions in one !.!.!.!?
Is it possible to have an IUD (I think its called paragram!? the copper kind) inserted if youve never had a baby before!? Or perhaps a thing I was reading about called Essure!?
I cannot take hormonal birth control of any kind because the last kind I took (Orthocyclin) caused me to have a DVT and then a PE that landed me in the hospital for 8 days!.
Does anyone know about how much it costs without insurance!?
If there are options to pay over time!?
Where to go to get an idea about it and if its right for me!?
And if it hurts before and after!?
The only 'gyn' I have access to is at planned parenthood, though I dont think they will see me unless I specifically have something wrong or I'm seeking BCP!.
How would I go about finding a normal gyn in a clinic to see and talk to!?
I'm only 21 and been living out of the home for a grand total of 6 wks now, so all these questions are new to me and I'm not sure how to answer them lol so thanks guys :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm Canadian so I don't know if the price will help you but the regular no hormone IUD cost about $150!. I'm super fertile so I'm on Mirena the hormone IUD it cost me $375!. If it is inserted properly the pain in minor (I felt really sick about an hour after having it inserted and quesy for about a week following) but since my first period after insertion i've had realtively no pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
When I was 21 I used the IUD it was uncomfotable I expeirenced Adominal pain and my back was killing me!.!.!.!.!.!.I had it taken out!.!.!. Also at that time someone told me that it can be dangerous and it can cause lots of problems!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
