Question: My mom wants me to have a full physical at the doctors!?
Im a girl!. Im nervous!. what is the doctor going to do!? is she gonna like look at me naked!?
oh, and i have a bit of a sweating problem!.!. can i tell her about that in the appointment thing!? or do i have to tell her that i wanna discuss it before i go!? cause i dont really want my grandma to know!. (im living with her) PLEASE HELP!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

here is what she will do:
the nurse will come in and ask you questions!. then she will give you a gown and ask you to take off your clothes including bra's and your pantie's, she will leave for you to change!.
The doctor will then come in, check your heart rate, and blood pressure!.
She will then ask you to lay down on your back, prop up your legs and spread them apart!. She will put her hands REALLY close to your vagina and spread it apart, she will never touch you right there and she only looks for about 10 seconds!.
She will then have you stand up and she will look down your gown at your boobs, to make sure they are growing just fine (unless your like 10!)
she will then feel your spine to make sure you don't have scoliosis!
then she will have you walk from one side of the room and back, to make sure everything is a okay!
then you will get whatever shots you need, have your blood drawn, and then you will go pee in a cup!
tell the doctor about your sweating problem in the room during your appointment!. she will tell you what to do and maybe prescribe you to something!?! If she prescribes you something, your grandma might find out!. If she is the one taking you to the doctor's ask her to stay in the waiting room!. She might be resistant, but she will!

aww, most likely your underwear and bra, if you wear one, will stay on!. you'll probably have to take off the rest of your clothes, but you'll have a cover up on!. its not that bad sure if you've never met the doctor before it can be a bit uncomfortable but pediatricians are very nice!. you don't have to to tell your grandma what you talk to the doctor about!. just go with some questions in mind and ask the doctor when you get there!. a physical is just a over look of the body, make sure everything sounds good, nothing hurts, check your reflexes, nothing terrible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
A physical for me has always consisted of him checking your heart, your throat, your ears, he makes you bend over to check your spine isn't curved, they weigh you, check your blood pressure, and then you leave!
You can talk to your doctor about anything if you pay for it!.!. lol

i remember when my mother made me go and i was like, 12!. hated it!. hated her for making me go too!. the nurse looked in my ears, throat, eyes and checked my reflexes!. asked me some questions!. asked to look down my pants, which thank god they let me keep on!. it was not a good experience and i was too young to be subjected to someone I'd never met before asking me such intimate questions or checking out my parts!. i was also abused a much younger child so i think that made it even worse for me!.
all and all i was in no way ready for something like this!. i still remember it and i am still traumatized by it!. i told my mother that i didn't want to go, she insisted!. i should have told the Dr!. that i was not comfortable about the looking down there part, but i was terrified!. it felt like a violation!.
if i had any words of wisdom i would say speak up!. tell the person giving the exam what's ok and what's not!. if you don't want to take off your clothes, don't!. don't do anything 'till you're ready and comfortable with the person doing the exam!. don't forget, she works for you!. not the other way around!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She will look at you covered, even if you are naked!. tell her about your sweating problem, It is a common complaint but can indicate an underlying problem!.
