I'm almost 37 weeks pregnant, and during the night when i wake up to got to the toilet or get a drink, my abdomen is really painful!. I cant even describe the pain, it really strange, its sort of like a pressure obviously from the baby!. But sometimes i cant even stand up straight because the muscles are so tense! it only happens at night time when i have been sleeping!. I've had it for a week or 2 now and its just getting so bad!

Definitely call your OB to double check, but it sounds like you could be having contractions!. I started having regular contractions at 32 weeks and they came every night from 1am to 4am and that's exactly when I went into labor! Just at 42 weeks and 3 days! It's always best to call your OB or midwife when you are having pain though!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
