actually it is still happening today in some parts of africa!. they dont have the money to buy tampons or pads, and it might not even be as readily available as it is in developed countries!. girls have to stay home from school and miss their education because they have no way to hide the bleeding!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
They used cloth, much like a cloth diaper!. They also didn't generally leave the house during that time of the month!. Apparently, even though every woman got her monthly gift, it was a source of embarrassment!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
