Question: Can antibiotics make you get your period if you're on the pill!?

I am on borth control but I have been taking Cipro (500mg) for the last 10 days because of a bad infection!. I had my last cycle on Aug!. 29th, but got it again on Sept!. 11th!. Im having cramping and it is quite heavy!.

Could this be caused by the antibiotic canceling out the birth control!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

There has been research about the antibiotics reducing the effectiveness of birth control!. Not all women are affected the same way about this!. I would tlak to your doctor about it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
