Lol, Can one of you ladies tell me what the logistics of an instead cup are like!? Sorry, I know it's dumb and I'm too old to be wondering this, lol!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Basically, it's just like what you thought, it's just a little cup to catch the blood, but it is inserted in the vagina!. I agree with Laura V!. They are like a diaphragm!. They're really easy to put in and take out!. Just squeeze the sides together and insert as far as comfortable and when you want it out, just hook your finger under the rim and pull it out!. I know it sounds like it would be messy, but it's not!. I've been using them for years and love them!
They're really easy and they last me most of the day even the first couple days when I'm super heavy!. I've never found them uncomfortable and I can't wear tampons because it hurts me!. They can leak a little at first it may take a couple tries to get it in all the way and in the correct spot, but the leak is no where near as bad as you imagine!. Just wear a pantyliner til your confident you won't leak!.
As far as the sex thing, that's true too!. It's not big, and it doesn't get in the way so you can definitely have sex!. My boyfriend and I have sex with it in and it's not weird at all!. I actually can't even feel it!. My boyfriend can feel it a little, but it doesn't bug him at all!. So I definitely recommend giving it a shot! I don't use anything else!.

EDIT: And like Laura V said, it's definitely not birth control or protection from STD's ,so definitely use don't rely on it for that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best way I found to describe the Instead cup is to compare it to a diaphragm!. You would insert it and remove it the same way!. I used it a couple of times and found it to be quite messy at first but with practice I'm sure you could get the hang of it!. Whatever you do!.!.!.DON'T use it as a birth control alternative!Www@Answer-Health@Com
