Question: 24-hour urine collection for women!?
My doctor wants a 24-hour urine collection to test for Cushing's!.
I'm having a heck of a problem collecting ALL the urine, because all they gave me was a jug!. Should the lab have given me one of those things that sits on the toilet rim and catches urine!? (I think they're called 'hats') If not, where do you get them!? I've been calling drugstores and they've either not heard of them or don't have them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm sorry you might have Cushing's, my dog actually has that disease! Hat's are a great way to help you collect urine the only problem is that they are really small and are usually used directly by the technician/dr!. to examine the contents or the urine/feces must be placed into a separate container anyway!. Hats just makes it easier to pee in!!.!.I would ask your doctor for one but I know at the nursing home I worked at they had plenty of hats to go around so maybe check there!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
