Question: Vaginal bacterial infection!?
i just got a call from my doctor this afternoon telling me that i have a vaginal bacterial infection, and that i had abnormal cells on my cervixs!. Ive been complaining for about 10 months now of having some yeast infection symptoms, and ive been trying to treat it but it seams like it always comes back!. I guess its really wasnt an yeast infection like they have been telling me!. Now im worried and i have to take some meds for 7 days twice a day!. i would just like more info about this and if any one has ever had this before just to let me know what i got myself into!!! thnak soo much!. I have had that happen!. The normal bacteria in your vagina just get an overgrowth of bad bacteria!. They give you antibiotics like flagyl (metromidazole)!. I also have had the abnormal cells on the cervix!. The Doctor has to watch abnormal cells!. The doctor may have to give you a pap smear more often!. Sometimes you can get abnormal cells from an irritation from an infection!. Just follow whatever directions the doctor gives you and call them back if you do not get better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
