i had a baby 3 months ago (normal delivery), i came on my period 2 weeks ago so i had the depo injection!. iv had the depo before for about a year and i didnt bleed one bit, so is it normal that im bleeding now and is it normal its been 2 weeks and still going!. they usually last bout 5-7 days!.!. hope someone knows what i mean!. thanxWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yes,I know what you mean,a lot of my friends and family that have used depo bleed the entire,three months; I ,in the contrary don't bleed for the whole three months but spot at very random times!.
Depo messes up your cycle abruptly!.I suggest you look for another form of birth control!.
The fact that you already took it once then again after a baby doesn't mean the reaction will be the same everytime,specially since your body has already gone through the change of having a baby!.

It is normal for a woman to bleed for a while after having a baby!. My sister bled for 3 weeks after giving birth!. It's because you go so long while pregnant without having a period!.
And I am on the depo shot, have been for 2 months!. I know you said you've been on it before and you didn't bleed!. But it is your first time getting the shot in a quite a long time, and you just had a baby!.
All I can suggest is to wait another week, and if you are still bleeding then go talk to your doctor!. You could probably get a more reliable answer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had the depo shot with my 2nd child, now 12!. I bled for 50 some days in a row, when it finally stopped it only lasted about 3 days then i started again!. Then i bled for 20 some odd days and off for a few, i was all messed up, so i quit the shot!. I do not recommend the shot, or the norplant(sp) they both messed me up bad, Some other ppl may have had a different reaction!. Depo is different for everyone and acts differently every time you use it! I took depo for a year and bled the whole year! My friend took it and never had her period at all! Some people just cannot take it!. Go see your doc and ask about the patch or an IUD or something!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
