Question: Female question; Ovarian cancer, BC!?
Recently, when I went to my OBGYN to get a package of BC pills, I told her how I had been skipping taking a pack every one pack (I take the YAZ BC pills for irregular periods)!. She said that it's better if I take the pack because due to past family history with ovarian cancer, that BC can reduce the chance of ovarian cancer!. She said something about the BC not causing the ovaries to shed as much or something like that!. Is it true!? Can regularly taking my birthcontrol help reduce the chances of ovarian cancer!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

An OB/GYN is a professional!. If she tells you that BC can reduce the risk of ovarian cancer, I'd say you should believe her!. I'm pretty sure she knows what she's talking about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
