Question: Has anyone had any thyroid problems!? Help!!!?
I went to the hospital today becuase I have had a killer sore throat and my thyroid gland has been swollen for almost 2 years now and I am only 20 yrs of age!. They told me I had thyroiditis, I was just wondering what I can do to make the swelling go down, if anyone knows anything that would help the pain/swelling!. I have prescriptions but I cant get them yet!. Anyone have thyroiditis and it turned into something worse!?
Has anyone ever had a biopsy on their thyroid if so how did it feel!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It will give you much info and hopefully answer your questions!. I had a thyroid biopsy about 15 yrs ago and then had my thyroid removed!. I don't remember too much about it!. I think I was anesthetized and put under so I didn't feel anything during the procedure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you need to get the meds you need asap
i do know they can take a special xray to see if it is cancer or not
