Hey there i have been on the mini pill for 15 days
Now as i was told by my doctor that the mini pill thickens your cervix or something so as to make it hard for sperm to enter
I was wondering as i wasnt given a little leaflet in it
If i accidently missed a day is it likely that i could fall pregnant and should i use condoms if i forget
How long does it take to get pregant when stopping it we want to have another baby in 2 years time
And also how often is it likely to get my period
The doctor said that it could come whenever my body wanted whether it be every month or every few months
I have already had my first while on it and so far it has been a week
I want to make sure i dont have sex on ovulation days as i fell pregnant while taking the normal pill last time and now i wont know when im oulating

I was on the mini pill for a year!.!.!.I got pregnant within 1 month of stopping it!. Yes, you need to use back up birth control if you are as little as 3hrs late taking it!. It is very touchy in that regard! My period was very irregular, which is normal for me tho!. This pill has a larger margin of error than the regular pill so better safe than sorry!.
