You'd definitely need tampons, but with those you can go in the water!. I'd suggest taking a selection of sizes because it's easier to control if you have just the right one depending on how heavy you are on a particular day!. If you do wear bathers you should go for a bigger one, to be on the safe side!.

I went for years without tampons because I just didn't feel like I needed them, but when I eventually tried them I was amazed by just how much easier they make things!. It can be difficult to get one in right when you're new to it, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy!. I found that putting my finger in and getting a feel for the angle made it loads easier!.

Don't wear a pad if you're going in the water - even if you are fully clothed!.
The pad will absorb the water rather than the monthly visitor and you will end up leaking!.

Try using tampons, they are actually really comfortable once you put them in correctly!.
Never use a tampon unless you are on, and never leave it in for any more than 7 hours!.

Enjoy your trip!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Really think about that!.

A PAD, in WATER!. Do you think it will just soak up blood!? It will soak up the water and be useless as soon as it gets wet!

You MUST wear a tampon or moon/diva cup when doing water sports on your period!.

Try tampax pearl lites to start, and then after you get used to it go ahead and try a larger absorbency!.

I've worn tampons for 23 years and I prefer them over pads!.

You can't use a pad in the water!. It will just absorb water to its maximum capacity and then you will leak everywhere!. Your best bet would be to learn how to use tampons!. They're really not that difficult!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Personally, I'd use a tampon - you may be fully clothed but you know you could easily end up in the drink and pads don't cope very well with that!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
