I have the Paraguard copper IUD, but I thoroughly researched the Mirena too before I decided on getting the paraguard, the only reason I didn't get the Mirena is because hormones tend to make me crazy!. Anyhow, really, don't worry about it, your doctors did everything they can to make sure you are OK and it sounds like you are!. I had the copper IUD put in over a month ago and I bleed very lightly everyday!. This is normal, as, within the first six months, irregular bleeding should be expected as this is the adjustment period!. Sometimes I think I get those pains too, but I think it is just in my head because I know there is something in my body that I wasn't born with, so I think the pains are just my head reminding me that it is there and that I think it is kind of weird but will deal with it for relieable birth control!. As for the burning, I had that the first week after I had my IUD put in, I too went to the doctor and nothing was wrong and it quickly went away!. I doubt that anything is wrong, those pains probably aren't from the IUD because I believe the only reason it would cause pains like that were if it were out of place, which they have already confirmed that it is IN place!. Don't worry about it, I think you are probably fine, just need to get used to the IUD!. But DON'T have unprotected sex with someone if you aren't 100% certain that they are clean because STD's can lead to PID which can be serious if left untreated, so just be careful and you will be fine:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

and how many girls has ur partner slept with whilst uve been broken up!? get an std check!.!. if u have one its much worse with an IUD in as its a focus for the infectionWww@Answer-Health@Com
