Pharyngitis/Strep Throat during Pregnancy?!
Question: Pharyngitis/Strep Throat during Pregnancy!?
I am 18 weeks pregnant and am wondering if Pharyngitis or Strep Throat is harmful to the fetus!? It may be something else as my throat is very sore on one side and this developed after having a cold for 3 days!. I am going to urgent care tomorrow!. Also, will antibacterials hurt the baby!? No, your throat infection (no matter which it is) will not hurt your baby!. And they will not prescribe anything that is a threat to your pregnancy!.
