Question: Is it possible to start premenopause at a young age!?
I am 26 and my doctor said that i have an hormonal imbalance!. I did research and the only thing i found that it meant was premenopause!. is this even possible!? at first i thought i was pregnant but that is not it!. does anyone know anything about this!. it is kinda disturbing me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yup, Menopause is actually a scale and some people can start as young as about 21 or 23 as that is about the time that hormone loss starts!. When some women start this process they can lose too much too soon!. So you would have a hormonal imbalance in that you are losing estrogen too much too soon and it makes the other hormones like testosterone--which you don't start to lose until much later- seem more pronounced in comparison!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
This is very rare and more often involving people undergoing treatment for cancer or have had surgery on or removal of the uterus!. A hormonal could also mean your thyroid!. Your doctor should have told you what he or she meant about a hormonal imbalance!. You should call your doctors nurse first thing monday if you do not feel like you are fully informed!. it was 27 for me but my uterous ruptured in labor so that was end for me but it can happen i have heard of it and its ok but sad you have no children yet!. but anyhow now you don't ahve to worry abou tthat and its possible talk tot he doctor about this don't take it from us the one sthat aren't medical!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I'm also 26 and been hormonal imbalance since i forgot how long!. I been using birth control pills ever since to help me with my cycle!. My sister and my mom have the same thing!. It's not a big deal don't stress your self out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Just like everyone goes through puberty at varying ages, menopause happens the same way!.
