Period came late, negative test?!

Question: Period came late, negative test!?
I'm 25 and not using birth control my husband and I are not necessarily trying to become pregnant but if it happens it happens!. My period usually comes like clockwork and my cycle is ALWAYS 28 days (never fails!) My period came 2 days late!. I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative!. I've been taking antibiotics since yesterday (amoxicillin) because of some tooth work i'm gonna get done!. Would that have anything to do with a late period or negative result!? Could I still be pregnant, any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If your period still came, and was only two days late, there's a good chance that you're not pregnant!. There's probably another factor at play; sudden changes in your environment, the medication, or stress, many women get their periods with a little variation!. Doubtfully the antibiotics had anything that would affect your menstrual cycle, especially as you just started yesterday!. However, if you still think that you're pregnant, remember that most tests can't detect pregnancy at a very, very early stage!. If you just had your period, and you tested closely after, there is a chance that it was in too early of a stage for the test to detect!. I'd recommend testing again in a couple more weeks!. I hope everything turns out fine!Www@Answer-Health@Com
