Question: Female Help !! !?!?!?!? !?
Well, Me and a mate [ both girls ] are going on a 3 week expiditon to africa in 2010 , it seem long but its not ,
anyway the rest of the group ( 15 in total ) are lads, and we have 2 male teachers [ head of year and vice principle ] we get along really well with both of them , and 1 female [ our mentor]
but in the car talking abuot it , kit blah blah blah , wee both lookd up and realised
were going to be on our periods then :S
3 weeks in a jungle !.!.!.!.:S:S
is there any way we can stop our periods for them 3 weeks !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
apart from losing loads of weight

losing loads of weight wont make a difference, here in the UK you can get prescribed a talet to stop your periods, im getting it for next year when we go on holiday!.!.!.!. speak to you GPWww@Answer-Health@Com
My only comment would be that anyone who can absolutely guarantee when they're going to have a period in 2010 is pretty darned regular!. Then again, being gone for three weeks almost guarantees that part of the trip would include your period!.
There are means by which your period could be stopped, including new forms of oral contraceptives that limit you to approx four periods a year!. If you choose to make a change in your personal prescription(s) for the long run, that would be fine!. But I'd advise against trying to do something "just to stop your period once"!.

There are birth control pills on the market that will allow you to delay your periods, such as Seasonale, where you can use it to have just four periods a year!.
Call your doctor to schedule an appointment and to discuss the many options available to you!.

go and see your doctor because there is hormone tablets you can start taking a few days before you are due your period and continue taking them until you want your period,when you stop you should come on in about 4 or 5 days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
lol, you could go on the pill, its not for everyone, but it allows you the option of altering the number of days bleeding!. first, talk to your mentor, she'll probably have hers then too, and might be able to help you girls!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i cant hepl much, but i can say i know how your feeling, i recently went on a survival camp in the middle of the bush and i had mine, we had no toilets either, so it was really arkwark!. i just had to live with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
go on the pill few months be4 ya go and ya can wait till ye come home to have them !.!.its not reccommended but no harm if you don do it all the time!.!.!. ok!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
