There are instructions that come with tampons but when I was younger they didn't make much sense to me!. You will notice (if you've got tampons made with plastic) that there is a grooved or ribbed section just below where the tampon itself is!. This is for your fingers to grip!. I would put one foot on the toilet seat to make insertion easier!. You will prop up the one leg and use one hand to spread the lips of your vagina and the other to hold the tampon!. When ready, insert the tampon into your vagina only up to the grooves or where your fingers are holding the tampon!. You will then push the bottom part of the tampon (that has the string hanging out of it) until you feel the cotton part (the actual tampon) come completely out of the plastic casing!. Remove the plastic from your vagina!. There should now be a string hanging down that will make removal possible!. Change your tampon often to make sure that you don't get sick!. Also, you shouldn't flush the plastic from the tampon down the toilet as it could clog the toilet!. I wouldn't suggest vaseline or baby oil on the tampon because i'd be leery about putting such substances inside my body!. Hope this helps!. Good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
sit on the toilet or put one leg on the toilet, i would put some Vaseline or baby oil on the tampon!. (so it will slide it better) then just open the lips of your vagina and put it in!. go up to the middle part and push the plunger in!. and pull the applicator out!. only keep in for about 4 hours and change, you may want to use a liner until you know how much you flow!.
