First, calculate your caloric needs!.

http://www!.freedieting!.com/tools/calorie!.!.!.

3500 calories burned = 1 lb of fat melted off!.

So, since you are a junior size 5, becoming a junior size 0 is about 4~6 lbs a size drop!. So I guess you are looking to drop about 20 lbs!. To drop 20 lbs, you need to burn:

20 lbs x 3500 calories = 70,000 calories!.

So you need to create a 70,000 calorie deficit in your diet!.

If your caloric daily needs are 1,500 calories to survive (heart rate beating, breathing, thinking) for example, by eating 500 calories a day like you suggested, you would create a 1,000 calorie deficit every day!.

so it would take you 70,000 / 1,000 = 70 days of dieting at 500 calories a day for you to drop 20 lbs!.

So about 2!.5 months!.

Hope this helps!

ok you can do EITHER 500 calories a day, or 1000 cals a day and 30 minutes!. you can't do both 500 and 30 minutes!. Seriously!. anyway, doing that will burn approximately 1000-1200 cals a day, which means 2-3 pounds a week!. Say a size is 2-3 pounds, so I'd say it will take 5 weeks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You shouldn't do that if you ever want to eat normally again without blowing up!. You will have to eat 500 calories a day to maintain that weight for the rest of your life!. Do you think you can do that!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I WERE A 1 1/2 AND I'M 13 IF YOUR IN A 5 YOUR TO SKINNYWww@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, what is your height and weight!? Do you have extra weight to lose!? The standard baseline is 100 lbs!. at 5'!. For every inch over 5', add 4 lbs!. for a small frame, 5 lbs!. for a medium frame and 6 lbs!. for a large frame!.

Also, why do you feel you need to go from a size 5 to a 0-1!? Are your friends all in the smaller size!? Are you trying to emulate a favorite singer or star!? What is your motivation!? If it's just to see if you can do it, please don't put your body through that!. It's not good physically or mentally!. With those few calories, your mental health will take a nosedive because your brain won't receive the nutrition it needs to stay active and alert!.

You're right, it's not healthy to only eat 500 calories a day!. The problem is that even if you do it, the weight will come right back and probably more as soon as you start eating regularly again!. It's VERY bad for your metabolism to eat so few calories!. It will slow down big time because your body will think you're starving and so will try to stop that from happening!. Then, when you start eating again, it'll still think you're starving and stay slowed down!. PLEASE don't mess with your body like that!!

The better way to lose weight (ONLY if you truly need to) is to concentrate on eating healthfully, limiting sweets and exercising in moderation!. Avoiding "white" foods such as sugar, flour, potatoes and rice will help tremendously!. You should probably take a good multi-vitamin and drink plenty of milk or take a calcium supplement!. However, vitamins don't provide the fuel your body needs to properly function!. Avoid drinking a lot of soda pop since many of them, especially colas, contain phosphorous which leaches calcium out of your bones!.

You need a PERMANENT lifestyle change!. No matter how much you diet and lose, if you go back to your old eating habits, it only makes sense that you will gain the weight (and more!!) back eventually!. Research has shown that yo-yo dieting causes metabolism problems making it more difficult to lose weight the next time one diets!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
