How can I get my cervix to dilate in a matter of days? Lots of answers ladies :]!
Question: How can I get my cervix to dilate in a matter of days!? Lots of answers ladies :]!?
I am 39 weeks today!. The doctor wants to induce me for some blood pressure problems!. For the most part it is under control and she is waiting for my cervix to be more "favorable" for induction!.
My cervix is thinned (she didn't give me an exact percentage)
And I think I am about 1 cm dilated!.
She is doing a pelvic exam again in 2 days (Wednesday) and says that if my cervix is further dilated than she will induce on Thursday!.
I think she only wants me to 2 cm, so just 1 more cm!.
I want to know of ways that actually work to get your cervix dilating!.
I really want to be induced on Thursday for a number of reasons!.

well the 2 things were GREAT for me! was walking ALOT and intercourse, lol!. my first pregnancy i had intercourse kind of alot, and that night contractions came at me like a a hurricane!. lol, then with my 2nd baby, he was overdue and i had NO sign he was comeing anytime soon, so i went for a long long long walk!. And the next morning it was time to go! but because you said they told you to take it easy, the walking one is not goos for you!. So you may want to try the other one, unless your doctor has told you not to!. But if it is okay you may want to try that, im sure your husband/boyfriend will be more then happy to help you with that!. lol, Good luck and congrats!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Please don't try to do anything to yourself to change your condition, it would be unsafe for you and the baby!. The doc just wants the cervix to soften a bit yet!. They can do things in the hospital to induce labor when they think the time is right!.,Www@Answer-Health@Com
