My period is supposed to come on my wedding day. How can I stop it?!?!

Question: My period is supposed to come on my wedding day!. How can I stop it!?!!?
Since my wedding and period are only 34 days away, I've considered just letting nature take it's toll on one of the most important days of my life!. The problem is, my periods are typically horrendous (cramps, bloating, bitchiness!.!.!.you name it)!.

Some people have told me to start taking the pill now, since I'm not currently on it, which would throw off my period!. Although, I have heard that this doesn't always work!. Any thoughts!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only thing there is to do is try the pill!. It CAN take up to three months to regulate your cycle, but mine was regulated the very first month!.
That seems to be the only chance that you have!. Talk to your gynecologist about doing this and see what he/she suggests!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't start the pill this close to your wedding!. It can take a couple of months to get you regulated and you really don't want to be spotting and miserable for the last month before your wedding!. I'd say just hope for the best!. Sometimes stress can delay a period, maybe you'll luck out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I hate the pill and all but, I had a soccer tournament last June and my doctor gave me the pill to take for a month!. When tournament was over I stopped and period showed up!. I think I started it the Sunday after my period started the month before my tournament !.Well, regardless it did work out!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

i woukld go to the docs now but then i would start the pills about 2 weeks before your wedding!. then it shouldnt come!. but i definately wouldnt want to hae my period on my wedding day!. plus ur gonna be in a white dress!. and we both know u arent gonna have time to keep running to the bathroom for checksWww@Answer-Health@Com

start taking the pill NOW and you skip the last week of pills and start the new pack and you skip your period you need to do it asap though Www@Answer-Health@Com
