If the hip-bones grow too wide and big, can that be a deasease?!

Question: If the hip-bones grow too wide and big, can that be a deasease!?
I remember seeing a few years ago a picture in a medical book of some deseas ( did not pay much attention then) with a picture of a teenage girl with unsually big and wide ip-bones(she was skinny as hell, but had bony hips that were biologically abnormal)!.
Basicly her ratio of shoulders/hips reminded me somewhat of a kenguru!.
So when my hips(pelvis) grew lately(after 15 of age) and everybody says they are abnormally wide compared to the rest of my bones, I started wondering do i have some desease maybe!?
Is there such a desease!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I do not think there is an actual disease that causes wide hips!. However, genes would play a HUGE role for hip size!. Does your mother or either grandmother have wide hips!?

I also have wide hips, even when I am at my lowest weight, my bone structure in my hips is really wide!. Also, I have a twin sister, and we have the exact same structure, so I do know genetics will make this effect!. And actually we got this structure from my Dad's side of the family; as his mother and sister have the same thing!.

However, I do know that when you decide to get pregnant and have a baby, you will be so happy that your body is built that way! Tecnically, I beleive it is called "pear shape" and many woman fall in this category!. I think you have nothing to worry about! Enjoy the womanly figure :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have been a nurse for twenty years and I have not heard of it!.
Most people do not have symmetrical bodies!. Some people just have wide pelvises, some have narrow ones!. It is highly unlikely that there is anything wrong with you, you are just maturing, women's hips flare out, it is normal!. Some more than others!.
If you are concerned, see your doctor or health care provider!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
