i just got my period and my mom died one month ago so i cant ask my daddy!. how do i use a pad!? ( my docter tells me to use pads first)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm sorry about your mom!. As for pads they are really quite simple just place them in your panties, their contoured perfectly to fit so you really can't mess up and then every few hours change them!. Usually you get thinner ones (lights) for when your period is light and thicker ones (super) for when your period is heavy!. Usually on light days you don't have to change them as often, usually up to 3-4 hours is best!. At night just wear a thicker one and sleep easy!. im so sorry for your loss!. but starting your period is normal and you shouldnt feel bad that it has!. every girl goes through it!. I would reccomend getting the Always Ultra thin pads they work they best and there really comfortable and you cant even tell your wearing them!. all you have to do is unwrap the pad, put the sticky side on your underwear and if it has wings wrap the side of the wings on to your underwear!.

Oh sweetie, I am so sorry!. There are many pads on the market!. Start with a regular one until you know how heavy your periods are going to be!. Use tightish and preferably cotton full size or hipster undies!. Choose thin pads that have a sticky strip to stick to the inside crotch of your undies!. Some have "wings" at the side to prevent leakage!. Change them often until you learn how long they last!. It won't take you long to get the hang of it!. Wrap them up very carefully in paper and a sealed plastic bag before you put them in the garbage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Please do not alienate your dad!. He needs to be the one to help you, at least let him try!. You need to build a special trust and bond with him now that your mom has passed!. I am not going to tell you how to use a pad as everyone else already has!. I will tell you what I tell my 14 year old, adhesive side down!.

Hopefully you already have pads!. If not, tell your dad and he will understand and take you to the store to get them!. If you do, they come with adhesive (sticky stuff) on the back!. You peel off the paper and stick them in the bottom of your underwear!. Change them when there is a lot of blood on them or at least two times a day!.

I remember when I fist got my period, I was really afraid of leaking through, so I suggest you get a longer pad!. Always Ultra-Thin Overnights with Wings are really great!. Basically, you just put the pad on your panties!. The longer end towards the back!. Just find a comfortable spot for you and it should work fine!

It's okay honey!. Just line the pad up with the crotch of your underwear!. Pull them up and if it feels uncomfortable or lopsided, pull them down and realign it!. Try to get the middle of the pad perfectly aligned with the middle of your undies!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
