Question: My daughter is stuffing her bra!?!?!?!?!?
I noticed that my 12 year old daughter is stuffing her bra without telling me!. She always takes the square nail polish pads and always stuffs them in to make them bigger!. I've tried telling her to stop doing that!.I search her room while she's gone during school!. But I never find anything!. What should I do!? Please answer as soon as possible!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should help her with her self-image and self-confidence!. She's doing it because she doesn't feel that her breasts are adequate enough!. She may be jealous of other girls in her class who are developing earlier than her!. This is very normal!. She should be told that girls develop at different rates, and that a slower rate is not a sign of inferiority!. All in due time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have this rule!.!.!.!.if you wouldn't look through your kids room when they are home don't do it when they are at school either!. Kids need their privacy too!. The only time that rule is flexible is when you suspect drugs or you have your kids permission!. I do not go in my 17 yr olds room but the 15 & 13 yr old are fine with me cleaning their rooms!.
As for the bra stuffing!.!.its kinda cute really!.!.!.Take her shopping and see if you can come up with a better solutiond!. Maybe those little specially made bra pads or a push up bra or a lightly padded bra would do the job better!. Say you dont want her to be embarrassed if the cotton pads fall out in public etc!. and these other ideas give her a better more natural shape!. Maybe go to a specialty bra shop for advice!. Its only a phase and she will soon be doing something else you think is strange!.!.!.lol!.!.!.teenagers are such fun to have!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i'm 16 and i've been there!. shes probs just a little embarassed about her body!. of course she wouldn't tell you about stuffing! shes embarassed that she has to do it!. assure her that her breasts will grow on their own!. DONT SEARCH HER ROOM you will loose her trust!. trust me, its just a stage!! offer to buy her a push up bra or a nicer bra to make her feel more confident!. also remind her of the embarassment she would face at school if the padding were to fall out!. that will stop her :) good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I know you don't want to hear this but it's just kid's stuff!. All you can do is remind her that she's beautiful and that whoever doesn't see it is a LOSER!. Keep pounding that into her head and by the time she gets another growth spurt and evens out a bit more she'll be out of that kind of thinking and more confident!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If she's not happy with the way she looks, go out and buy a padded bra with her!
