Question: I don't have enough time to get the amount of sleep I need!.!?
I am a teenager!. I sleep for 7 hours at most!. I have problems because I have a lot of homework and studying so I go to sleep at 11:00!. What should I do!?!? By the way how much hours of sleep do I need!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eight hours is recommended but seven hours should be fine!. Just try to get yourself in a normal sleep pattern meaning get to bed the same time every night!.
I know when I was younger it was terrible getting up in the morning!. I just wanted to keep sleeping no matter how much I slept the previous night!. It does get a little easier waking up as you get older!.
You are still getting enough sleep but an extra half hour of sleep a night won't hurt you either!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the amount of sleep you need varies from person to person!. Since your brain and body haven't fully developed yet (the brain continues to develop well into your 20s), most experts recommend that you get 9 or 10 hours of sleep as a teenager!. If your homework keeps you up until 11pm and you get up at 7, you're only getting 8 hours!.

You may need to consider dropping extracurricular activities if you're not able to get your homework done and getting sufficient sleep!. Alternately, you can try to do more homework during study hall!.

Whatever you do, don't skimp on sleep! Your brain needs that time to re-learn everything it learned during the day!. You'll find that your capacity for learning will increase with the amount of sleep you get!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need 8-9 hours if you are a teenager!. So I'm guessing you start school around 7:30 or 8 and get done around 3 or 4 correct!?

Then maybe you have 1 or 2 hours of some sort of after school activity!? so that puts you at 6pm at the latest!. That gives you 5hours between 6 and 11pm to eat and shower and do homework!. If you can't fit it all in then you might be taking classes tha are too hard for you!. I never had much homework in hich school!. If you think high school is bad, college will be really rough for you!.

8-10 is ideal especially for younger people!. But really a any age you should try to get 8!. All you can do really is to try to get as much done as you can during class maybe at lunch!. Play with your schedule!.

I know how it feels not to have enough time!. I work 10 hour days and it takes me over an hour to get home!. So by the time I get home, eat, sit down for a half hour its time for bed! Doctors say you should get at least 7-8 hrs every night but most people don't ever get this amount of sleep!. If you feel groggy in the morning try drinking a small cup of coffee!. As a teenager myself I know what it is like not getting enough sleep at night!. Coffee and energy drinks have become my best friend!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

and seriously, you shouldnt be taking that much time on hw and studying, when ur trying to be perfect on every little thing, it can and WILL drive u crazy and u will get burned out of school!.

so quit being a perfectionist and go to sleep at 10 even if ur hw or studying isnt done!.

or just dont spend much time on ur hw, studying for tests is more important than making a perfect 100 on every hw assignment which is only like 10% of ur grade!. tests or more than 50% so do the math!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok to the girl who said stop being a perfectionist!. i'm not a perfectionist and i'm doing homework from 6-10 at night!. i get home from school at 2:15 take a nap for about an hour or so!. watch a little tv!. then eat supper take a shower and do my homework!. i take a break for a half hour to talk to my boyfriend on the phone and thats it!. obviously that chick doesnt care about school!. homework at my school is 30% of my grade!. i have two classes one day and four the next!. and everyday i have at least 2 hours of homework!. and i dont have any free study halls to do anything because the day i have 2 classes one class is three periods long and i'm gone interning during that periodWww@Answer-Health@Com

Enjoy those blissful hours of sleep, I think someone told me you need a good 8 hours a night, but I survive on about 5, but they have to be good quality ones, and I have to unwind first!. If you do homework just before going to sleep your mind wont be relaxed, so chill

I can't go to sleep before 11, it's impossible, even if I'm tired the time drags out to around 2!.am/3!.am, and I have work at 6 - 6!.30a!.m every day!.

I sleep in between jobs in the van!.

The best way to catch up with sleep is to fold your home work into paper airplanes and throw them into the oven!.
