Is this normal after getting off the pill?!

Usually during ovulation your hormones go a little crazy because you're able to get pregnant at that time!. Also, if you're on the pill steadily for years, your body doesn't get a chance to ovulate because the pill tricks it into thinking it's already pregnant (hence no ovulation)!. There are hormones in the pill that can lower your sex drive, so it's understandable that you would be sort of withdrawing from them (for lack of a better term)!. Just be careful if you're not wanting to have children right now, because your body is an efficient procreating machine!. If you're extra horny there could be a good reason like ovulation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I stopped taking the pill 2 years ago!. If you read the side-effects of the pill then you can see that it can indeed lower your sex drive!. That's certainly what I found out!. I also lost a lot of weight when stopping taking the pill; around ten kilos (a stone and a half)!. It effects different women in different ways; I also found that it made me depressed and I felt much better being off it!. I'd personally recommend to see what suits you best!. Especially if you think that you are getting such side effects as I've described!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh my!.!.!. i'm exactly the same, i went off the pill 2 weeks ago and have been extremely keen for it!.!.!. which isn't like me!.!.!. I've been on the pill for 8 years so have never really know any different!. My husband is in shock at my recent behaviour :) oh well he should enjoy it while he can ;)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm not sure if they are supposed to, but I can see how it would influence your libido!. The pill works by interfering with your reproductive organs and hormones, which are responsible for libido, so it makes sense!. just enjoy it aye!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had a girlfriend who was exactly the same when she came of the pill!. Remember the pill works my changing hormone levels, the same system that affects your sex-drive!. Ironic really isn't it!

When i am on the pill i have a lower sex drive!. If you have been on the pill for ages than you may not have realized the difference!.

being on the pill does lower ur sex drive and it also changes ur choice in men! yes its true!.!.!.so maybe a change of partner may also come haha
