Question: Ladies, Please, is this a yest infection, or what!?
Im waiting to make an appt with the doc as we speak!. (waiting for there office to open) but im really worried!. the other day i thought i had a yest infection!. i felt itchy down there and a tad swollen (thats the best i can descride it) i was waiting till the next day to get cream and the symtoms kind of went away!. then yesterday i went to take shower took off my clothes and have this discustingggg smell coming from down there!. something i have never ever ever had before ever, even when i have had yest infections!. what is this!. i went to the abthroom this morning and the same thing, it makes me want to gag to the point where im almost embarssed to go to the doc bc there going to smell it!. has anyone ever had a yest infection with a horrible smell!? like i said i dont feel any other sympotims besdies this smell!. ugh so gross =(Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might have bacterial vaginosis, which is one of those infections women frequently get just like a yeast infection!. One of the symptoms of it is the horrible smell you are describing!. You do need to see your doctor, who should be able to tell you right away if that is it!. If it is, your doctor can give you an antibiotic to clear it up!. Very very treatable!. Yeah sounds like a yeast infection to me!. I've had it twice, it's irritating and painfull but very treatable!.
I used cream and pessary (which I got from Boots) and it was all gone in a day or 2 :)
Best to double check with your doc next week and theres nothing to be embarassed about at all!.
Doctors see these things all the time!. Its their job!
