Pressure from tampon insertion causing cramps? *semi-graphic, I guess*?!

Question: Pressure from tampon insertion causing cramps!? *semi-graphic, I guess*!?
I posted this late last night but got no responses!.

Ok, I know this sounds kind of weird, and it may just be me being paranoid!. But I'm noticing that when I insert a tampon, sometimes my cramps get stronger right as it's being pushed up!. I think I'm noticing it more just because I'm trying o!.b!. for the first time (could they be any more frustrating!?) and I was having a bit of trouble, and whenever I applied pressure to push it in I could feel my cramps get stronger!. However, I've felt this when using brands that have an applicator as well!. Could it be that I'm using the wrong absorbency!? Even if that's the case, why would it(the pressure) affect my cramps!?

I normally have really bad cramps, and I don't know if it's just a coincidence that my cramps are happening around changing time, or if it could actually be something wrong!.

And please no "go to the doctors"!. I know I won't find medical professionals on Y!A, but I don't have insurance or any money (seriously, i have 50 cents to my name right now) so, going to any doctor is not an option!. I'm just trying to see if other women have experienced this, and if it's anything that I need to be worried about!.

Thanks for any info! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is just a guess, but maybe you have a short vagina (not being funny), as they come in many lengths!. The tampons could be hitting your cervix and causing pain!. Actually, the OB ones are shorter and it should only be inserted far enough that your vagina closes around it to keep it in!. Many cramps are caused by the cervix expanding to let the menstrual flow out!.

Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I use ob and i think they're great!. i also use playtex!. and yeah!.
i feel you, that happens to mee!. i don't usually get cramps!. but when i do they're light and i've gotten them a lot lately!. (my time of the month) and i think it's because i've been using playtex which i don't normally use!. and yeah!. idk hah!.

you should just use a different tampon or resort to a pad!.

good luck(:Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same problems, I believe that when I try high absorbency, large tampons I start having stronger cramps (I accidentally bought a bunch of super absorbency, thick tampons)!. I have tried to use them because I did not want to throw them away, but they caused me cramping and just pain in my lower abdomen!. I got normal ones, expensive brand, I have no problems since!. I hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i had the same problem wen i first started using tampons!.!. try using OB, you insert it yourself without an aplicator so its a better fit, its smaller, and it helped meWww@Answer-Health@Com

Cramps usually get confused with other pains!. If the pain is actually up near the stomach, in the uterus, then it is truly a cramp!. Period cramps are one of two things, muscles getting
charlie-horses' from a lack of nutrients leaving the body, or larger blood clots blocking your fallopian tube!. If the pain is in the vagina itself, than your tampon maybe to large!. If your sexually active or not is not my Business, but if you aren't, your vagina isn't used to stretching, my best advice if you need a More absorbent tampon, but it hurts is either use smaller tampon and change them more often, or a common practice is to touch yourself, it can or cannot be used for sexual pleasure, up to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
