It could be that your body has been preparing you to start your periods properly although sometimes a lot of stress in a teenager can cause periods to stop!. You are right to get checked out just in case there is a blockage somewhere which needs to be cleared!. This happens too for no apparent reason!. Your doctor may give you an internal examination as well as blood pressure checks etc and will feel your tummy too!. Please don't be alarmed or be put of going, your health is very important and us women unfortunately have to deal with a lot of 'loss of dignity' during our lives!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

this is normal sometimes i have heard of people only having a period once and then going years without having it again! I think it is just your bodys way of saying it wasn't ready for that kind of change but no i dont think it is anything serious because i have heard of it happening before but u should still see your doctor just in case i dont think you have anything to worry about!Www@Answer-Health@Com

sometimes it's just normal!.
i know of some girls who didn't start until they were 16 or 17!.
sometimes you can just have one, and go a year or two with out it!.
or if your on some kind of medication it could affect it!.
the same for malnutritionWww@Answer-Health@Com

I think it is probably just your body adjusting to a normal routine, everything should be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
