Question: How do i ask to do this!?!?!?
ok im 12 tomarrow=P and ive been on my period a couple years and i would like to start using tampons cause my peirods are SUPER HEAVY and cause at my school we have gym every day!.!.!.!.the blood gushes out of me (tmi) but im afraid to ask my mom HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think the best way of asking is just to sit down with her sometime, and tell her that you wish to use tampons because you are a very heavy bleeder!. Your mother went through this when she was younger, she knows what you are going through!. If you talk to her rationally (calmly, peacefully, with meaning) then she should understand and will hopefully take you to the store so you and her can pick out the best kind of tampon for you!. You may be a little apprehensive or nervous about talking to your mother about this, but you will feel a whole lot better after you have talked to her, because you so badly want to do it now- that when you have you will feel so much less stressed and worried, even happy!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
I know exactly how you feel - I was terrified to use tampons up until I was 20! It was a terrible experience for me going through school using pads!. Try your best to find the courage to speak with your mom about this, all women go through it and I know it is scary but she will hopefully be understanding!. If you can't do this, don't forget that if you have any friends going through the same, a lot of the times they can be very helpful too!. You'll find that most women aren't grossed out by the topic and are only sympathetic!.
Also, if you periods are in fact very heavy - this may be something to be concerned about and I'm sure your mother would be happy to help you!. You might want to see a doctor about this!. Your mother will understand, I promise!. Do not be afraid! I know its kinda of awkward but you could write her a note if you feel uncomfortable talking in person!. Your mom went through this just like you are, and she will be supportive! Do you have an older sister or aunt you feel comfortable with!? They too can help you, but your mother will want to know these things, tampons can cause injury if not used properly, but i promise you will have no problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I know, I started when I was 10 and remember having the same problems!. Why don't you go to your Mom and tell her just what you wrote here!. I am sure she will understand and advise you properly!. Some Moms don't want their very young daughters wearing tampons but if you are sincere with her, don't act like you are 12, you know, maybe she will help you to get tampons!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Either ask, or go out and get some and try them out!. Try tampax pearl lites to start with, so you can get used to a tampon inside of you (since your periods are heavy change it often)!. After you are used to this, wear a bigger absorbency!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
its normal to be a little nervous!. just try telling her alone that you want to start using tampons!. if you're really scared, try leaving her a note somewhere you know she'll find it like on her pillow, in her car, or on a coffee maker if she drinks a lot of coffee!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

when your mom goes to buy you things for your period go with her and just point to the tampons and ask if you could start using them, i suggest that maybe you should get slender plastic applicators!. get playtex gentel glide slender aplicators!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ask your mom or even a older sisiter or close friend!. never ever be nervous to ask your mom about this sort of thing, they were there once too; they understand, believe it or not!.
