What is this bleeding?!
Question: What is this bleeding!?
im on the pill an i had my pill period well over a week ago, but i have just gone to the bathroom and there was abit of blood, now it was'nt like speckles it was like bleeding just little lighter, any ideas, could this be implantation bleeding!?
if anyone does not think its implantation bleeding could it be something like cervical cancer!?

Hon, it could be implantation bleeding or something else entirely!. You need to call your gynecologist first thing this morning, he/she will probably need to examine you to make this determination!. I highly doubt its cervical cancer with such a quick onset but there is no real way to assess what is going on with your reproductive system through the internet!. Many forms of the hormonal contraceptives (the pill) can cause light bleeding (often called spotting) between periods!. Call your gynecologist if you have heavy bleeding or if the bleeding is near constant!. They may switch your birth control!. Ibuprofen can help stop spotting!.
Also, if you've been getting your pap smears you don't need to worry about cervical cancer!. I really doubt you have cancer but here are a few things my gynecologist told me that may put your mind at ease:
-Cervical cancer typically has a very slow growth rate, it usually takes years to develop!.
-All the women in the U!.S!. who died of cervical cancer in the last few years either were not getting pap smears at all or for whatever reason refused to follow up when they had a positive pap smear!.
-There are many treatments to treat abnormal cervical cells before they become cancerous!.
I would put my money on the pill being the cause of your bleeding!. I had light bleeding for three months after getting a Depo shot, it was incredibly annoying!. Make your doctor give you birth control that you can live with!Www@Answer-Health@Com
