I remember learning that during Ancient Egyptian times, women used papyrus or somethintg similar as a disposible tampon (I don't know when or how I know this!)

Before tampons there were just pads and before pads in the Little House on the Prairie days they just used rags that they would wash out!. One would assume cavewomen used nothing as underwear hadn't been invented!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
