Question: What Do They Ask When You Go To Your GP About Going On The Pill!?
What do they ask or do, when you go to your doctors about wanting to go on the pill!?
Also does each type of pill effect every women differently!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
They mostly ask the basic questions like whether or not you're sexually active, if you smoke, if you drink, etc!. They're going to want to know a little bit about your family history, though not a lot, just any major illnesses or diseases!. They will probably want to do a regular Pap test just to make sure everything is okay!. And that's it!.

The pill does tend to effect everyone in a different way!. Some women gain weight, some women's skin clears up, some gets worse, some retain more water or have more cramping, others lose horrible PMS symptoms!. All depends on you!. If you have issues with one pill when you start out, call your doctor and tell them, and maybe the following month you can try something a bit gentler!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

*Mine asked if I was in a steady relationship (pill doesn't protect against STD)
*Any unusual occurrences in your period
*any other meds
*when was your last pap!? normal!?

Yes, each type of pill effects differently!. Women naturally have varying amounts of hormones in their bodies, so not everyone can take the same type of pill!. Just because something worked for a friend doesn't mean it will work for you!. You can ask your GP for one month's worth to see if you can tolerate the side effects!. Also ask what other meds you might take would make the pill "not work"!. I have heard that some antibiotics will affect the pill this way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they will ask if you are already sexual active, they will probably do some tests to make sure you haven't been infected with anything!.

a good doctor will also ask questions about high blood pressure in your family, and a lot of more general health questions!. The doc may recommend another birth control method ( not abstinence) if there are complicating health factors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not much really, they may want to do a pap (some docs do, some don't!.!.!.mine always did) & test your urine to make sure you're not pregnant!.!.!.but that's it!. They'll get you on a pill then at your next check-up they'll evaluate how you're doing on that pill & address any questions or concerns you may have!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They'll need information on your medical history, if you smoke, if you're allergic to anything!.

Different women need different dosages and kinds of pills!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
