Tampons.....................

I know this sounds so old school, but practice makes perfect!.One day when your home alone and practice!.These are some common position's down on the toilet, standing up with your foot proped p on the toilet, and standing in a half squat(like a cowboy)!.Relax your muscles down there and go for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i'm from the uk!. recommendations here say you can have a tampon in for up to 8 hours but normally go for 3 to 4 hours unless you feel the need to change!.

you should wear the correct absorbency for your flow!.!.!.if you have a regular flow!.!.!.wear a regular tampon, a lite flow!.!.!.wear a lite tampon!. this is to say you should never use the next one up for convenience!.

if you are unsure try regular and just wear a little panty liner just in case the first couple of times!.

have you tried the tampons with applicators, or the ones without!.!.!.i'd suggest trying a few types, just relax in a room on your own and try a few types and hopefully you'll find one that suits!. also make sure its high enough because otherwise it will feel uncomfortable!. it should feel really comfortable!. good luck xxxWww@Answer-Health@Com

What size tampon are you trying too use!? I would start with a junior size/lite size until you feel more comfortable!.

This will sound odd, but when my daughter tried for the first time she kept complaining it hurt and she could not get it in, and she finally explained what she was doing and I realized she was trying too insert her tampons into her urethra - where the urine comes out!. That will DEFINITELY not work! When I had her try to slide it back a bit further into where the vaginal opening actually was it was fine and she had no problem!.

Make sure you grasp the bottom "slide" portion of the tampon just below the point where the two halves meet each other, and slide it in until your fingers just touch the skin at the opening, then gently depress the plunger and slide in all the way!. If you don't insert the tampon in as far as possible first the tampon won't be placed up high enough in the vagina and you will feel it - and it will not be comfy!.

I hope this helps!. Feel free to email if you have questions-
good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

aww huni!

ok!. sometimes it does hurt when u put a tampon in!. especially when your period is heavy!. just make sure you get in a comfortable position (either squatting, or sitting with knees apart) whatever is best for you!.!. then relax and slip it in!. if your not relaxed it wont go in or may hurt!. you dont have to push it that far in just till you cant really feel it anymore!. remember!.!.!. if you can feel it inside you!.!. it isnt in properly!.

its best to use the lightest kind of tampon for your flow!. so if your only light flow, just use a light flow tampon ect!.

You should only leave the tampon on for 4-6 hours, again depending on your flow!. if you still have difficulty try only wearing tampons when your flow is heaviest!. You can get the tampons with applicators which help you to put it in, or if you prefer you can get them without applicators!.

I hope this helped [= good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You shouldnt worry at all!. sometimes adults cant even use them!. all you need to do is make sure you are relaxed and take deep breaths you can eather put your foot up on the toilet or split your legs apart!. you should never leave a tampon in for more then 8 hours!. so change at least 3 times a day!. Yes its perfectly fine if you use tampons through out your period!. Since you have to swim for P!.E!. I would really suggest for you to use tampons otherwise it would be messy!. if you still cant put in a tampon you should talk to adult or even a friend that has started there's!.

:) I hope i helped!
and good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey
There should be some instructions in the box you get!.
Shows you some pictures on how to put it in properly!.
Yeah it does hurt if you dont put it in the right way and can be uncomfortable when you do put it in wrong!.

You can have it in for about 4 hours i think, thats also in the box guid thing!.!.!.!. and it depends on the strength of tampon you have as well!.

just make sure the plastic part is all the way in before you push!. for it to be in right you have to not feel it, sometime you will at first if you flex and then you wont even realize your on your period!. its ok to use a regular size the first few days as long as you change when you need to usually around 5-8hrs!. is safe!.
good luck! you'll get used to them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
