My b/f and I do all kinds of positions and i love them all!. But I cant do doggy!. Its his favorite and i like the idea of it because i feel sexy when im bent over letting him give it to me!. It means he's going in too far & it's hitting your cervix!.
Normally when a woman is fully aroused, her cervix moves up further to allow more space inside!.
So if you're relaxed and aroused enough & he doesn't go inside too deep/fast, it shouldn't hurt & you shouldn't be able to feel him hitting your cervix!.

For the "ripping open" it's probably his 5 1/4" girth!. Make sure you are lubricated enough!. Use lube or have him give you oral!.
As for the "hitting" pain, he's too long and its hitting your cervix causing the pain!.You want to try a position where you control how deep he goes!.

wow!.!. this is the best position ever!!! haha!. try doggy style but laying down on your stomach sorta way!. or maybe he is just too big haha!. doggy style position goes in pretty deep so if you feel any pressure on your cervix get him to not go in as far!. if that doesn't work for you then try other amazing positions!! GO slow at first then let him go deeper as you feel you can!.

Try using a lot of lubrication and having him go slower until you are comfortable!.
