Question: Extra Long Period!! Birth Control Question!.!?
I was on the Implanon birth control since April 26 and have been bleeding non stop since May 6!. I am getting it removed next week!. Should the bleeding stop almost immediately!?
Also I am looking to try another form of birth control!. Have you found any luck with any!?

Yes, it might stop almost immediately!. The reason I say that is because it can take the body time to adjust to being off the medication!.
The other options out there for birth control are the pill, one I like is Femcon Fe, the Nuva Ring, Mirena (this is an IUC-Intrauterine contraceptive)!.
With Mirena there can be some heavy bleeding to start off with but then it should get lighter afterward (found out about this from the commercial for the product)!.
