Question: Horribly painful periods!.!.cant take it anymore!!?
i suffer from intense periods which almost impair me!. none of the medicines i take can help-- ive tried everything over the counter!. my doctor and others i have seen just tell me that theyre sorry and its part of having a tilted uterus or whatever, but i never get prescribed any medication suitable for the pain!. i think people assume im malingering but if the cramps are so severe that i have to stop walking, talking, and just freeze with pain that what else is there to do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Are you on the pill!? Because that just about cures everything period related!. I would try it!. If nothing else, there are safe ways to take the pill that reduce the number of periods you have per year!.
And if that's all your doctor had to say- get a new doctor!
Honestly, for cramps, ibuprofen is about that best thing ever!. Narcotics don't really help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have the exact same problem!. Its so awful that something as natural as periods can cause so much pain :( they put me on the pill to make the pain less, worked abit at first but doesnt seem to anymore, might work for you tho, worth a try!. worth going back to your doctor and demanding they search for endometriosis or summin too!.!.!.good luck with it all :) xx
oh and i forgot to say, the best pain relief i can find is midol, the ones in the blue and white packet :) they're not great, but better than anything i've tried!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to get these painful cramps too!. I had to miss days of school and work because of it!. Even though I wasn't having sex, my doctor prescribed me birth control pills (Ortho-Tricyclene) and it worked wonders!. It cleard up some acne too!. But now I'm married and after I stopped taking the birth control pills, it took me 7 months to get pregnant and now my periods still aren't that painful and I'm not taking any birth control!. Other than that, have you tried that 800mg Ibuprofen!? Get you doctor to get you some of those girl!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
