Tampons VS. Pads; Which one do you prefer? Why?!

Question: Tampons VS!. Pads; Which one do you prefer!? Why!?

Answers:
Neither (:

I prefer my divacup because!.!.
-it's comfortable (you can't even feel it's there when it's inserted properly)
-no string to pee on
-no risks of leaking (it opens up all around and has a suction protection seal)
-no risk of TSS
-it's better for the environment
-it's cheaper
-it's convenient (i don't ever have to make a last minute run to the store for tampons or worry about stashing a box of tampons in my bag on trips)
-it's better for the sea creatures (do you know how many tampon applicaters get thrown onto beaches!? yuck!)
-no need to waste my money on something i will buy and then throw away
-if i'm ever stranded on a desert island i won't bleed everywhere, whereas all of you disposables-addicted will (;Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tampons!
1-you can't feel them
2-you can wear them and swim
3-they don't leave a mess like pads do
4-sometimes pads make me feel like i have a diaper rash or something
5-they don't feel like they're stuck to you're buttocks all day long
6-you don't have to worry about your pad moving out of placeWww@Answer-Health@Com

I prefer pads because my period is not consistently heavy enough for tampons!. I have used tampons a few times when swimming, and I just don't feel that comfortable with them!. As long as you change them regularly, you will not get the odor and mess!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I use both!.

I use tampons during the day as I move around a lot and don't feel "secure" wearing a pad!.

I use pads at night because I don't think one should leave a tampon in for any longer than 4 hours - and I'm not disturbing my beauty sleep to change a tampon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tampons!. First off, I feel fresher and cleaner!. Second, there is less chance of a leak onto your outer clothing, especially if you also wear a panty shield on your heavier days!. Plus I hate the feeling of"gushing" on heavy days!. Hands down - my choice is tampons!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I absoulity prefer TAMPONS!
I just reciently [[this summer]]
Discovered the pure joy of tampons!.
You forget your on your period!!!
You don't feel them!
And I have less cramps!!
I don't see why I put up with pads for almost 3 years!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tampons, I feel like I have more protection than a pad and I can leave them in longer!. Also, even if a pad is super, it really doesn't do much more than a regular!. Also, my cramps aren't as bad with tampons!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I prefer pads!. It's natural and it lets all the blood flow out!.

But Tampons, they keep alot of the blood traped in because it has no where to go and the little tissue thing doesn't catch THAT much blood

PADS (ultra thin)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i like tampons because i agree with answer number one, but when i'm at school i don't have time to go to the bathroom, so i use pads most of the time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pads cos I don't like shoving stuff up there, esp!. some thing made of cotton or whatever!. It's too dry and not appealing!. Plus, I'm still worried it'll leak and have to wear a liner anyway, so why not just the pad!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tampons for days, pads for night!. Or switched, i don't care!. Pads you don't have to change as often!. But i am considering switching to a menstrual cup!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

well i just got my FIRST period 3 days ago so i only used pads but already my period leaked through my panst at school so im thinking tampons work better!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pads!. I'm 14, so I haven't really wanted to try tampons yet!. Pads just seem easier, and i've always been afraid to stick that tamp up my peesh!.!. doesn't sound pleasurable!.!.!.!.

Pads just seem easy to me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I use tampons!. It's much easier, and cleaner in my opinion!. You don't have to worry about a big mess like you do with pads!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tampons!.
They allow you to do more activities without worrying about leaks!. Just as long as you use the right absorbency for your flow!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I rather have tampons because you can do more things when your on your monthly!.

But pads are good to because you dont have to worry about it leaking through Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tampons i've tried pads but they are so messy I hate it, and tampon you don't feel it at all

I mean you might need to change it more often but WAAY MORE COMFORTABLEWww@Answer-Health@Com

I use both!. But mostly pads!. They're easier and convenient and there's no pain or risk of TSS!. I'll use a tampon if I'm going out or somethingWww@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on the situations!.
Tampons if I am going out or are in school!.
Pads if I am stressed out and at home or just relaxing!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on how long you have had your peroid if youve had it for a long time I would use tampons and if not use pads!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I chose pads b/c it's been going on for years that Tampons can cause ovarian cancer so I never used them !.Www@Answer-Health@Com
