i heard that doctors look at your body!? what exactly do they do!?

I'm not sure what they do at 14!.
For an adult they examine your breasts for lumps!. They do a pap smear where they take a swab from your cervix!. This involves putting something in your vagina!. I don't think they will do that unless you are sexually active!.
Other than that, it's the same as when you were younger -- blood pressure, looking in the ears, eyes and mouth!. Asking questions and maybe sending you for a blood test!.

I'm assuming this is a physical for high school, maybe for a sports team!.!.!. Anyhow, they don't do any "female" stuff for those unless you request it!. They just check you over, heart, lungs, joints!. They make sure you're growing well, and weighing in at a healthy range!. You can always take your mom in the room with you, and always ask questions or tell the doctor if you don't feel comfortable with something!. Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com
i got a physical a couple weeks ago and they didn't look at my body!. they made me jump on one foot then check my pulse and look at my ears and in my mouth but that was all they did by looking at my body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
